John Lee is a nationally recognized Dance Master who has been teaching adult social dance since 1955. His credits include: a performer at the "Mambo City" and "Accent 2" nightclubs in Chicago, a Studio Dance Director, a Manager, an Owner of four dance studios, a Regional Dance Director and a Master Franchisee for Colorado, Wyoming and Utah with the Fred Astaire Dance Studios.

He is an accredited adjudicator for numerous dance competitions including the prestigious U. S. Open Swing Dance Championships. John was on the Executive Advisory Board for the U. S. Open and the United States Swing Dance Council. He was the President of the Capitol Swing Dance Club of Sacramento for four years and a featured writer for Dance Action, Jitterbug Magazine, Western Express Magazine, and the California Country Calendar.

John was one of 50 Worldwide Nominators for the "Feather Awards", The "Oscars" of the Dance World!

John, along with other notables such as Frankie Avalon, Connie Stephens, Connie Francis, Mary Murphy [So You Think You Can Dance], Ann Margaret, Steve Allen, and Josie Powell [Tito Puente's Dance Partner], was a presenter for that very distinguished $250.00 a plate black tie affair for five years.

John's class and private instruction provides remarkable emphasis on leading and following, styling and technique, consequently enabling his students to truly "Dance" the patterns taught them.
